Victoria Petrulla, MA, is a Clinical Research Assistant at the Center for Autism Research, where she works on projects exploring movement and social communication in individuals with and without ASD. Ms. Petrulla attended the University of Richmond for undergraduate studies and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She then received a Master of Arts in Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychology from Montclair State University. Her graduate research projects focused on 1) the efficacy of transition programs to adulthood for youth with disabilities and 2) attention to facial features and emotion recognition in children with ASD. She plans to attend a Developmental Psychology PhD program in the future in order to further study social communication in children with ASD.
