Ayana King Pointer

 

Ayana has enjoyed working at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) for over 15 years and gained an extensive background in Family Services before joining the Center for Autism Research (CAR). Ayana finds working at CAR personally and professionally rewarding, having a family member on the autism spectrum. Ayana serves as our Resource Coordinator, II. Ayana provides high level administrative support to our Center's Scientific Director and Training Director. Ayana acts as the information conduit for clinicians and scientists on matters relating to Hospital and Research administrative processes.  Ayana also handles participant stipends, travel arrangements, and is the primary contact for CAR's general office purchasing needs and external vendor relations. Ayana also works closely with CAR's Program Manager on fiscal matters for the Center.  Ayana attended Cheyney University where she majored in early childhood education.
