Amanda E. Bennett, MD, MPH, is a board certified Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician. She is a member of the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP) at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and is active in research activities as a member of the Center for Autism Research (CAR). Her clinical activities include attending physician in outpatient clinics at CHOP and consulting in the community as part of the Chester County Intermediate Unit CATCH team and the Elwyn Fragile X Center. Dr. Bennett serves as a consultant to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Expert Panel on Fragile X Syndrome and is Principal Investigator for the Autism Speaks’ Autism Treatment Network (ATN) in Philadelphia. She is also a collaborator and site PI on an NIMH-funded study of autism screening and family navigation services for toddlers in the primary care setting. Other research interests include identification and treatment of coexisting conditions in ASD and investigation of novel treatments for ASD through medication trials.
