Clinical Research Assistant
Michaela works at the Center for Autism Research (CAR) as a Clinical Research Assistant. She is currently working with the motor team looking at motor behavior and communication in children and adults with, or without, an autism spectrum disorder. She graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in 2018, where she earned her B.A. in Public Health (concentration in Biology) and recently completed post-baccalaureate studies at the College of Health Sciences at Thomas Jefferson University in 2019. As a Philadelphia-native and previous CHOP volunteer, Michaela is excited to be rejoining the CHOP community in a new role. Michaela hopes to continue her education in the healthcare field with a master's degree in the next few years, with the hopes of continuing to work in developmental and behavioral pediatrics.
