Clinical Research Coordinator

Leah Gaetz is a Clinical Research Coordinator for The Lurie Family Foundations MEG Imaging Center where she works within the department of Radiology at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Ms. Gaetz supports investigators with the design and implementation of MEG and MRI brain imaging studies. She oversees the financial management of study expenses, lab staffing needs and regulatory research compliance for the lab. Within her role,Ms. Gaetz collaborates with CAR to better understand the changes in brain structure and function for children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Ms. Gaetz  comes to us from Ontario, Canada with a BA in Psychology, a BA in Social Work and a Masters of Social Work. Prior to joining CAR in 2012, she worked as a Social Worker at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on their Child and Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatry unit. She is an advocate for children’s mental health and thoroughly enjoys being a part of advancing autism research with her colleagues at CAR.
