Clinical Psychology Intern

Laura Soskey Cubit, M.A., is a Clinical Psychology Intern at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. Ms. Soskey Cubit’s research focuses on investigating neurocognitive processes underlying the development of core ASD symptoms. Specifically, Ms. Soskey Cubit is interested in quantifying the impact of environmental complexity and predictability on attention and learning across development. She has used a variety of methods to address these questions, including eye tracking, touch screen tasks, behavioral tasks, and computational modeling. Ms. Soskey Cubit will be joining the team at the Center for Autism Research as a Postdoctoral Fellow in both clinical and research roles upon completing her PhD in June 2019.
