Clinical Research Assistant
Jessica Foy works at the Center for Autism Research (CAR) as a clinical research assistant. She currently works with the Motor team looking at motor behavior and communication in children and adults with, or without an autism spectrum disorder. In addition, she works with Dr. Herrington on his studies that use computer vision and facial expression data to create and validate a set of dimensional, biobehavioral markers of psychiatric symptoms in ASD.
Ms. Foy graduated from Lehigh University in 2020 with a Bachelors in Psychology and Public Health. As an undergrad she studied ADHD in young children and the benefits of Behavioral Parent Training (BPT) with Dr. George DuPaul. She also interned at the Child Mind Institute through their Summer Treatment Program getting one on one clinical experience with children with ADHD, Autism, and Anxiety. In the future she hopes to pursue a graduate degree to continue to learn how to best to support children with a mental health diagnosis and their families.
