Psychology Doctoral Student
Caitlin Clements, MA is a Psychology doctoral student at the University of Pennsylvania in the clinical training program. Her faculty advisor is CAR's director, Bob Schultz, PhD, and she has completed some of her clinical training and most of her doctoral research at CAR. Ms. Clements' research projects have included studying autism occurring in individuals with 22q11.2 Deletion/Duplication Syndromes, developing an online IQ assessment using item response theory and computer adaptive testing, studying the psychometrics of existing IQ assessments, meta-analyzing fMRI evidence for the social motivation hypothesis, and studying the genetic intersection of autism and intellectual disability in families. Her goal is to understand patterns of IQ and autistic symptoms in families through high-quality assessment across the age and ability range.
