Amanda E. Bennett, MD, MPH, is a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician within the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP) at CHOP and is an active member of the CAR research team as well. Dr. Bennett serves as a consultant to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Expert Panel on Fragile X Syndrome and is site director and principal investigator for the Autism Speaks’ Autism Treatment Network (ATN) in Philadelphia, based at CHOP. She is also a collaborator and site PI on a study of using telemedicine to provide clinical advice and support for primary care doctors in rural communities to better support patients with developmental diagnoses such as ASD. Dr. Bennett's other research interests include identification and treatment of coexisting conditions in ASD and investigation of novel treatments for ASD through medication trials.
